Special Guests: Making Cartoons, Meeting with Lastrego and Testa
Both worked as illustrators and writers for children books. Giuvanna was the hero of their books, mainly intended for infants and preschooler. She has a small dog and an imaginary friend/dragon that takes her places and teaches her about the worlds, where they meet characters of famous traditional stories of Italy.

They both worked a lot with children in general. They go to the school right in front of the studio and expose their work to the children for feedback and reactions.
They work on Macromedia Flash to animate their tradiaiontl drawings made with gouache and wash. Giuvanna is an animation that is 6 minutes per episode.

Team: they all have a collective direction. All the people working on the animation work and comment on the script and vice versa. Discussions take place while in the process of the script, the storyboard, and the animation.

Their preservation of their work was very particular: they had an overhead projector screening Testa has she drew directly. Then later, she gave the drawing to the children and they distributed posters to them and other promotional items.
