i
remember waiting impatiently for the "sawt wa soura" program
to end. we used to have it from 3 to 5pm everyday, after the national
anthem, on television lebnen. Sawt was soura means sound and image in
arabic, a program that aired Fairouz's songs, over a still image of flowers
from the cedar forests, or from the bekaa vallee. it was a boring sight.
after that, CARTOONS for ONE hour!! Bel wa Sebastien, Jasirat el Kanz,
Bondok wa Loza, Sasoukki, Tamtam, Remi, Narjis, Sawsan, marvelous wonders.
their translation was too fast to read and the language was too hard to
understand, but everything else seduced me. |
